Born and raised in Ohio, I grew up with brothers—translation: dirt under my nails, sarcasm in my blood, and probably a few too many tears. Life didn’t exactly go easy on me. After some family losses that flipped my world upside down, I learned two things: 1) take care of myself, and 2) stop apologizing for who I am. Spoiler: I don’t do filters (in life or on Instagram).

I love to shop, but I live by the high-low rule: some things are worth the investment, while others are perfectly fine from TikTok shops or Amazon at 2 a.m. (don’t judge). I’ll splurge where it counts, save where I can, and look good doing both.

Currently, I live in central Ohio with my farmer husband (yes, actual farmer—mud boots and equipment are involved) and our pets. Think rustic life, but with online shopping carts always full.

A few years ago, my bestie and I started what we called “Books”—our private little blogging experiment. Basically, we gave dramatic names to all the dramas around us (trust me, there were plenty). Our husbands thought we should start a podcast or blog. Naturally, we did nothing.

Until now.
